My interest in design began as a young girl of ten rearranging my room weekly. Now, with a family of young boys of my own and a Navy husband, I appreciate the desire to have a home that has well defined useful spaces in which every dollar spent is considered.
Formally trained at two separate design schools, I have spent most of my working years dressing traditional spaces, spanning from the Victorian era to the Arts and Crafts movement and onto mid century modern homes. Through this I have learned to blend the styles of today with the character of the past. With experience garnered from my time as a Paper Craft Artisan, I know that attention to the finer details all contribute to the coveted end result.
When planning a project, I believe in a no pressure approach while always keeping my clients’ vision in mind. As said by the great William Morris “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” Words I live by.

“An educational background in interior design, art history and studio art all influence my appreciation of colour, harmony, creativity, and detail that will bring your vision to life. Listening to you, identifying your needs, and seeing the evolution of your project from its beginning to completion is the most gratifying part of design for me.
Design is an integral part of my life, and each home my family lives in becomes a design experiment that is always evolving; as a shameless foodie, this is especially true of the kitchen! A kitchen must be functional, but also needs to express your individuality and warmth. Together, we will design a kitchen that is truly the heart and soul of your home.”
