The benefit of hiring Easy Installations to design and install your IKEA Cabinets is that our team is very familiar with the IKEA products and how we can make them best work for our clients and their space. While IKEA offers lovely pre-designed vanity units, the designers at Easy Installations often use the kitchen ‘SEKTION’ Cabinet system in the bathroom, due to the fact that it has more options for functionality, storage, and finishing.
Here are some options of IKEA Vanity units,
you can get them with an all in one sink, so you avoid the added cost of a counter top,
or you can get a vessel sink, that sits on top of the counter top.
Here are a couple of the vanities installed in clients homes,
we’re happy to offer this option, but if you’re looking for
something more custom we can create a vanity tailor made to your space!
The standard vanity size ranges from 24″ – 60″ wide, 17″ – 24″ deep, and 31″ – 36″ tall. With the ‘SEKTION’ system we’re able to work within the standard sizes while providing different options for full extension soft closing drawers in bathroom spaces as well as kitchen spaces. We’re also finding that our clients are more inclined to have a 36″ tall vanity, rather than the old standard. While a 31″ tall vanity can be more ideal for clients with small children, our taller clients are tired of stooping down to wash their faces & brush their teeth in vanity sinks that are simply too low!
Our clients love additional storage in their bathrooms, whether it be for towels & linens, cleaning supplies, or a large collection of bath products. The best way to add more functional storage is to add drawers, either next to the sink or in a taller cupboard like these ones framing the sink & mirror!
By using the IKEA kitchen cabinets in a bathroom you’re opening up a whole new world of options! We love that this client chose such unique decorative knobs to pair with the popular ‘GRIMSLOV’ door style.
We’re huge fans of this bathroom reno we did with T-Square Renovations last year. Esther did a fabulous job designing a custom space for our clients with their angled bathroom corner. Read more about this project here.
